Screening of Different Media and Heat Shock Treatment Regimens for Enhancing Sporulation in Bacillus licheniformis

Bacillus licheniformis is a spore-producing bacteria. The present study aims to identify maximum sporulation in through induced heat shock conditions using different solidified media and broth media. Suspensions of spores were spread-plated on nutrient agar plates before after treatments 60°C, 80°C 100°C for 30 minutes. number was determined by the dilution plate count method. result indicates that highest spore production observed when AK (Arret Kirshbaum) Agar seven days under treatment 60℃ Whereas, case Nutrient Broth media, four at 80℃ This will help find optimal from licheniformis, an industrially beneficial microorganism.
